No Day-To-Day Bus Changes

Ensuring that all students arrive home safely is a tremendous responsibility. As a result, permanent change requests must be made on the district’s transportation form (below).

All bus changes that were made in the 2021–22 school year will be carried over to the 2022-23 school year. If your student is being picked up and dropped off the same place they were last school year no further action is required on your part.

If your child’s transportation needs will be different for the 2022-23 school year (daycare change, starting or stopping parent transport, etc.) a new transportation form must be submitted by July 15, 2022.  Complete the form at the link below.

Note: To ensure the safety of all of our students, no Transportation Changes can be approved from August 16, 2022 to September 20, 2022.

NOTE: All Private or Parochial School Transportation Requests for School Year 2022–2023 were due in April, 2022.  Please contact the Transportation Department if you need assistance.

The Jordan-Elbridge Board of Education is committed to promoting the health and safety of our students, staff and district residents, as well as, recognizing the importance of protecting our environment from harmful emissions found in bus and other vehicle exhaust. In accordance of Education Law and Commissioner's Regulations, the District will minimize, to the extent practicable, the idling of all school buses and other vehicles owned and/or leased by the District while such bus and/or vehicle is parked standing on school grounds or in the front of any school. This policy also applies to contractor owned and operated school buses under contract with the District.
